Talented Intermediate SQL Developer Required

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL database systems that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including software developers, data analysts, and project managers, to understand and refine database requirements.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting needs.
- Identify and resolve performance issues, bottlenecks, and data integrity problems within the SQL database systems.
- Perform data analysis and modeling to ensure accurate representation of business data.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate SQL code with applications and systems.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in SQL development techniques and tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a SQL Developer or similar role, preferably for a minimum of 2-3 years.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and database management systems (DBMS), preferably with experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and keeping up-to-date with emerging SQL technologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with database administration tasks, such as backup and recovery, security management, and user access control.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
