OCHO is proud to be working with a fast-growing AI start-up to help find a Senior Software Developer to join their small but mighty engineering team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, product-led environment and wants to take more ownership across the full development lifecycle.
This company has built an intelligent, AI-powered platform that’s helping organisations within financial services make faster, more accurate decisions across their core operations. Still in the early stages of scale, they’re looking for a developer who can grow with the business, shape how they build, and be a critical part of delivering new features and enhancements as the product evolves.
You’ll work closely with the founding team, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape the technical direction of a product that’s already making waves in its space.
What’s the Role?

Work across a modern web stack to build, improve, and scale a complex AI-powered platform

Collaborate with the founders and product team to bring ideas to life quickly

Contribute to architectural direction, development practices and technical decision-making

Build, test, and ship robust, scalable features with real-world impact

Help guide the technical roadmap as the platform grows in complexity and user base
Tech You’ll Work With

PHP (Laravel) – core backend framework
-
Vue.js – frontend interface
-
Python – powering AI/ML models and integrations
-
Bonus: experience with APIs, DevOps, or working alongside data science teams
What They’re Looking For

Strong experience across backend and frontend development (Laravel + Vue.js preferred)

Comfort working with or around Python-based AI/ML components
-
A proactive mindset – someone who wants to influence direction, not just take tickets

Experience in fast-paced environments, start-ups, or scale-ups is a huge plus
-
The ability to work autonomously but collaboratively – no red tape, no micro-managing
