Product Owner -Ecommerce - EXCLUSIVE Ocho partnership****

Hybrid role . 1-2 days a week required in the Ballymena office .

Salary £40-50k + excellent benefits package

The role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Product Owner with a successful track record in product launches to join our clients team.

As a commercially astute Product Owner, you will define product strategy, drive innovation, and ensure the successful delivery of features that enhance customer experience and drive the growth of our clients online B2C product.

As a Product Owner you will;

  • Act as the primary liaison, using your commercial insight to understand and anticipate client and market needs, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to shape a visionary product roadmap.
  • Develop, own, and execute the product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the product backlog, balancing scope, budget, and time to prioritize objectives and map dependencies.
  • Oversee development stages, collaborating with product and development teams to plan, execute, and review each sprint.
  • Take accountability for each stage of the development process, working with the team to refine and improve the workflow.
  • Evaluate product progress, inspect iterations, and determine if the final product meets standards.
  • Articulate problems and processes clearly to both business and technical stakeholders, facilitating effective solution analysis and design.
  • Communicate the specific commercial outcomes or results of the product to the team.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to understand customer requirements and develop strategies for product success.

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in an eCommerce environment, delivering new and iterative products using agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce business processes, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and design thinking.

Desirable Experience (not essential):

  • Experience in customer discovery processes.
  • Providing guidance and support for digital transformation.
  • Working with financial solutions or integrating external finance systems.
  • Proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools and techniques.
