Java Software Engineer – Java / Spring
About the Role:
My client is on the lookout for a number of talented Java Software Engineers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic team where you'll be responsible for developing high-quality solutions and contributing to cutting-edge projects. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you'll work closely with clients to design, develop, and deliver technical solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on complex projects using Java and Spring Boot, contributing to the full software development lifecycle.
- Regularly interact with clients to agree on technical designs, estimate effort, and understand the implications of user stories and journeys.
- Continuously share your expertise with the team, while also learning about new technologies and methodologies to grow your skill set.
- Make sound, reasoned decisions in a fast-paced environment, contributing to scalable and secure software solutions.
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java / Spring Boot.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices.
- Designing and creating HTTP APIs
- SQL Databases (Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB)
- AWS services
Desirable Skills:
- Setup and configuration experience.
- Experience with document-based databases.
- Familiarity with these technologies.
