The Role:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be at the core of ensuring the quality and success of the digital products and services developed by my client. You will focus on executing comprehensive test strategies and improving testing processes, working closely with a team of talented QA professionals without the additional pressures of a lead role. You will drive the adoption of automation tools like Playwright, contribute to best practices, and be a key player in delivering top-tier digital experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute robust test strategies, ensuring they align with project objectives and client needs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to integrate quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Lead test automation efforts using Playwright and TypeScript, while handling API testing with Postman.
  • Stay current with industry trends, contributing to continuous improvements in QA processes and best practices.
  • Focus on software quality, usability, and performance from the end-user perspective.
  • Monitor and report on test progress and outcomes to stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout the process.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior QA role with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, and Postman for test automation and API testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, working well in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in an Agile environment is a plus, with a focus on digital commerce.
