React Software Engineer – Hybrid / Belfast
About the Role:
My client is seeking talented React Software Engineers to join their dynamic development team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable web applications. You’ll report to the Head of Engineering and play a key role in designing technical solutions, collaborating with clients, and ensuring the success of various digital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, test, and maintain modern, scalable applications using React and other cutting-edge technologies.
- Work closely with clients to agree on technical designs, provide accurate estimates, and understand the technical implications of user stories.
- Share knowledge with your team while continuously learning and staying updated with new technologies and best practices.
- Make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced environment, balancing functional requirements with user experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Knowledge of React and familiarity with modern frontend development.
- Experience in Vanilla JavaScript / Next.js / React Native / TypeScript
- Experience with mobile-first development and responsive design.
- Proven experience in testing and a strong understanding of performance optimization.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical designs and non-functional concerns to both clients and team members.
- Works well within a team and can thrive with minimal supervision.
- Experience with cloud platforms would be highly desirable.
