Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client and drive impactful change in the financial services sector.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements, translating them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Lead workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and manage user stories, use cases, and workflows to support solution design and development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, testers, and business leaders, to ensure requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform gap analysis and impact assessments to evaluate current and future state requirements.
  • Support the development and execution of test plans to validate that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Facilitate change management processes, ensuring stakeholders are informed and prepared for system changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of banking, insurance, investment, or other relevant sectors.
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements, such as MiFID II, Basel III, or other relevant frameworks.
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, including requirement gathering, gap analysis, and process modeling.
  • Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
