Data Consultant – Mechanical Engineering (Ballymena, Hybrid – 2 Days On-Site) | Up to £45k

Our client, a leading mechanical engineering firm based in Ballymena, is seeking a Data Consultant to help drive data-led decision-making and process optimisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to shape the future direction of the business by leveraging data to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and support strategic initiatives.

The Role

As a Data Consultant, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to analyse existing processes, identify areas for automation, and develop data-driven solutions. You will play a key role in integrating and optimising Power Apps and other tools to enhance productivity and decision-making within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain Power Apps and other data-driven tools to support operational efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define data strategies and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement creative solutions to improve workflow automation.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all business applications.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with Power Apps and other Microsoft data tools.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and usability of applications.
  • Persistence and determination to overcome challenges in building and deploying solutions.
