Junior Business Analyst
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum + bonus

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Belfast team on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This position will involve data mapping, analysis, and working with XML to ensure accurate and effective data integration across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Mapping & Analysis:
Perform detailed data mapping to ensure seamless integration across various systems.
Analyse and document data flows, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
XML Management:
Utilise XML to structure, store, and transport data between different systems.
Ensure the proper formatting and parsing of XML documents to support business operations.
Requirements Gathering:
Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements.
Collaborate with developers and technical teams to translate business needs into functional specifications.
Project Support:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure deliverables meet business objectives.
Provide ongoing support and analysis throughout the project lifecycle, including testing and validation of solutions.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external vendors.
Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of data mapping techniques and tools.
Proficiency in working with XML for data structuring and integration.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
