Technical Support Engineer (Level 2/3) – Belfast
Ocho are seeking a skilled Level 2/3 Technical Support Engineer to join our clients Belfast team, supporting a suite of core products used by top financial institutions globally. The role involves working in both a local and global team, with a focus on financial services support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second and third-level support for financial services clients.
- Assist with client onboarding and troubleshooting.
- Work in Unix/Linux environments, utilizing strong analytical skills to solve problems.
- Adapt to changing support needs and processes.
Criteria:
- Passion for technology and a desire to learn new systems.
- Strong skills in Unix/Linux based environments - essential
- Experience in financial services, specifically market data and order entry.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with networking, scripting, and deployment management.
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Knowledge of Networking, Deployment Management, Scripting languages, FX, crypto, FIX, ITCH protocols.
