Senior KDB+ Developer - Fully Remote (Belfast-Based company) | Up to £80K + Bonus

Our client, a leading technology and digital transformation consultancy, is looking for a Senior KDB+ Developer to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial market data solutions while benefiting from full remote flexibility.

The Role
As a Senior KDB+ Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimising KDB+ solutions for high-performance trading and analytics systems. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient data solutions within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance KDB+ databases and applications.

Optimise queries and data structures to improve system efficiency.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions.

Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance in high-frequency data environments.

Contribute to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment of KDB+ solutions.

Skills & Experience Required
Strong experience with KDB+ and q programming.

Background in financial services, trading, or market data environments.

Proficiency in query optimisation and handling large datasets.

Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and scripting.

Experience working with real-time data processing.

Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while collaborating with teams.
